Dr. Padilla developed a passion for the medical field early on, having both parents in the profession. After initially entering the corporate business industry, she felt drawn back into healthcare. Through her own personal experience, the field of pain management was of particular interest.
After receiving degrees from Iona College (NY) in Biochemistry and Finance, she continued at New York Institute of Technology (NYIT), receiving a doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine in 2015. Dr. Padilla then completed an internship at Northwell Health – Plainview Hospital (Plainview NY) and a residency at State University of New York (SUNY) in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
She furthered her skills in pain management at the Center for Advanced Pain Management & Rehabilitation (NJ), affiliated with Rutgers NJ Medical School, completing an Interventional Pain Management fellowship in 2020. She is Board Certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
Dr. Padilla joined Advanced Pain Management & Spine Specialists in Fort Myers FL in 2020. She is skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic pain, especially pain emerging from spinal conditions or injuries. She is also experienced in treating pain from sports injuries, even those that occurred decades prior.
Her compassionate nature and gentle touch are part of her commitment to each individual’s positive outcome. “Restoring my patients to a lifestyle that is comfortable and active is always my goal,” she states.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Padilla enjoys piano, singing and spending time with her children (especially in water activities).
Dr. Jonathan Daitch, senior physician and founder of Advanced Pain Management & Spine Specialists, states, “Dr. Padilla is a strong asset to our team and expands our availability to more patients in Southwest Florida. Her skills and experience are ideal for the advanced level of care for which we are known.”
