In March 2001, Advanced Pain Management & Spine Specialists, became the first medical practice in Southwest Florida devoted only to the care and treatment of patients who suffered from chronic pain. Patients are seen in the south Fort Myers offices or the Cape Coral offices.
Our physicians are all Board Certified by the American Board of Interventional Pain Physicians in addition to their other Board
Certifications in Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine and
Rehabilitation, and Addiction Medicine.

- As of early August, Dr. Daitch and Dr. Frey are now seeing patients at the Cape Coral office as well as in Cape Coral. The Cape office is located at 1425 Viscaya Parkway near Cape Coral Hospital. Please call the main number at 239.437.8000 to make an appointment at the Cape office as well as Fort Myers.
- Dr. Michael Frey recently presented “The Truth About Vertebroplasty, Kyphoplasty, and Sacroplasty” at the FSIPP, FAPM, and FAPMR Meeting in August in Orlando.
- Dr. Jonathan Daitch lectured at the Seventh Annual Conference on Addictive Disorders sponsored by the Lee County Coalition for a Drug-Free Southwest Florida Addiction on June 27, 2008 in Fort Myers.
- We welcome Lourdes Gardose to the Finance Department of the Business Office.
- Despite the threat of Hurricane Fay, the APMSS Staff enjoyed a Labor Day picnic on Fort Myers Beach. The brave ones even ventured into the rough surf!
- Rachel Amalo, a native of Uganda, spent the summer as a Business Intern at APMSS. Rachel is student at the prestigious Wharton School of Business at University of Pennsylvania where she is studying actuarial science. She learned about the many challenges in medical practice management in the United States.
